March 2, 2026 100 Women CW presented a cheque for $12,500 to the Wellington Pregnancy Care Centre.The Wellington Pregnancy Care Centre provides compassionate support through education, resources and programs for anyone expecting an unexpected pregnancy or challenges as a new parent in Wellington County. On Monday March 17, 2025, a cheque was presented for $13,000 to Curl for a Cause in support of Aboyne Rural Hospice. These funds will be used toward supporting the build of the Aboyne Rural Hospice, providing essential end-of life care for its residents. Fall 2025
On November 25, 2025 100 Women Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,300 to Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington. Summer 2025
On September 27, 2025 100 Women CW presented a cheque for $12,700 to the Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation for the Tour De Elora. The Tour De Elora was founded by breast cancer survivor Gillian Alton. Each year during the month of October, participants log the number of km they bike, walk or run. Aiming to collectively log 10,000 km and raise $10,000 to support the WRHN Cancer Centre. For more information, please visit https://explore.wrhnf.

Spring 2025
On May 28, a cheque for $12,700 was presented to the Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington, in support of their Winter Wear Program.

On Thursday November 28, 2024, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,500 to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation.

On Monday December 4th, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $11,800 to Aboyne Rural Hospice. Shown above from left, Member Nicole Martin, Founding Member Tracy Bachly, Dr. Clarissa Burke Aboyne Rural Hospice Board Member, Ann Maciulis Nominating Member, Pam Stumpf Presenting Member.
Aboyne will be the location for a new ten bed residential Hospice to support all of rural Wellington County, including Wellington North and Centre Wellington residents. For the project to move forward, Aboyne Rural Hospice will need to fundraise $2.5M before the Ministry of Health will approve the project. This initial proof of community support is a crucial step in bringing hospice care closer to home.

$9,000 for Groves Memorial Hospital
In Winter 2021, on December 15th, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented Groves Memorial Hospital with a cheque for $9,000.00. Our member, Donna Cashmore, nominated the hospital and the funds will go toward the purchase of a Hysterscope.
In the last two years members have raised $64,000.00 that was donated to eight charities in the Centre Wellington area.
