Charity Donations 2025:

Winter 2025

Fall 2025

On November 25, 2025 100 Women Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,300 to Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington.  From left to right: CW 100 Women Members Pam Stumpf, Anna Scott,  Nicole Martin, Lisa Cashmore (nominating), Lisa MacDonald, Deb Stanson, Director ReStores, Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington. The funds raised will go directly to support the Garafraxa Village Build, Fergus, supporting families in our community

Summer 2025

On September 27, 2025 100 Women CW presented a cheque for $12,700 to the Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation for the Tour De Elora.  The Tour De Elora was founded by breast cancer survivor Gillian Alton.  Each year during the month of October, participants log the number of km they bike, walk or run. Aiming to collectively log 10,000 km and raise $10,000 to support the WRHN Cancer Centre.  For more information, please visit https://explore.wrhnf.ca/pages/tour-de-elora.

Spring 2025

On May 28, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,700 to Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington, in support of their Winter Wear Program.  The CRC purchases new winter coats, snow pants and winter boots for children living in low-income households. The Winter Wear Program enables families to focus their limited funds on other living expenses and ensures all children have the same opportunity as other children in their community, creating a sense of belonging among their peers.

$12,500.00 to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation

On Thursday November 28, 2024, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,500 to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Winter 2023

$11,800.00 to Aboyne Hospice.

On Monday December 4th, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $11,800 to Aboyne Rural Hospice.  Shown above from left, Member Nicole Martin, Founding Member Tracy Bachly, Dr. Clarissa Burke Aboyne Rural Hospice Board Member, Ann Maciulis Nominating Member, Pam Stumpf Presenting Member.

Aboyne will be the location for a new ten bed residential Hospice to support all of rural Wellington County, including Wellington North and Centre Wellington residents.  For the project to move forward, Aboyne Rural Hospice will need to fundraise $2.5M before the Ministry of Health will approve the project. This initial proof of community support is a crucial step in bringing hospice care closer to home.

$10,300.00 to the Centre Wellington Food Bank

On December 6th, 2022, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $10,300 to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.  Shown above (from left) is Chair, Board of Directors, CW Food Bank Jackie Andrews, Founding Member Tracy Bachly, Member Nicole Martin, and Presenting Member Ann Ironside.   Absent is Nominating member Lisa Cashmore.  Funds will support the CW Food Bank Christmas Hamper program.

Charity Donations 2021:

$9,000 for Groves Memorial Hospital

In Winter 2021, on December 15th, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented Groves Memorial Hospital with a cheque for $9,000.00.  Our member, Donna Cashmore, nominated the hospital and the funds will go toward the purchase of a Hysterscope.

In the last two years members have raised $64,000.00 that was donated to eight  charities in the Centre Wellington area.
